AvalonBay Communities is searching for a Customer Service Supervisor, a true industry leader who will spearhead our office operations, set new standards for quality, and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Achieve and help team achieve weekly and monthly goals through effective selling, listening, and follow through.
Effectively coach, train, model, and monitor effective sales behavior.
Successfully take ownership of and solve resident problems and concerns with minimum of managerial oversight/assistance; ability to professionally address and resolve difficult customer service issues.
Ability to exercise professional judgment to resolve issues and problems with residents and co-workers diplomatically and without becoming adversarial or losing professionalism.
Listens to and quickly develops rapport with residents and prospective residents as demonstrated through past work experience and possesses a genuine desire to assist customers and residents.
Gathers up-to-date information of interest to residents about the local area and communicates the information to the team and residents/prospects.
Successfully solves resident problems and concerns with minimal managerial oversight/assistance as demonstrated by past work experience.
Communicates services available in surrounding area/neighborhood, as well as benefits of Avalon Advantage and the Time Well Spent concept, service guarantee, and customer service standards, to prospective and current residents as demonstrated by previous work experience.
Utilizes sales skills to achieve leasing/sales targets as demonstrated by accomplishments in previous work experience, accesses competition and makes appropriate recommendations regarding pricing, and maintains standards for merchandizing of the community (tour path, models, leasing center etc.).
You have...
• 1-3 years of multifamily experience or related experience/education in a hotel, retail or restaurant environment.
• 1 or more years of supervisory or training experience required
• High school diploma or equivalency (GED) is required. Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite
