This position will provide analytical support to the Regional Vice President of Property Operations, helping to shape the organization's decisions as it applies to the operation of our properties. This will be accomplished through analyzing both financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities in an attempt to more effectively operate our properties. This position will also play a key role in our ability to accurately forecast revenue, occupancy, expenses and net operating income. In addition, this position will assist the Property Operations group throughout the budgeting process to assure budgets are created in an accurate and timely manner.

- Coordinate the budget process, train Directors, and complete the initial review in a timely and accurate manner for the Property Operations group. Assist in due diligence for new developments and Investments and completes the initial underwriting.
- Forecast revenue, expenses, and income in an effort to shape the organization’s decisions as it pertains to the operations of AVB properties. Compile and analyze financial data for presentation to executive management.
- Respond to monthly requests from the LRO team relating to pricing and market comparisons.
- Pilot new operating and budgeting enhancements for the Property Operations group and conduct systems testing in an effort to ensure the successful implementation of new systems.
- Perform community audits, train new executives on audit processes and procedures, review operating results on a weekly basis, report out any exceptions.
- Review financial results on a monthly basis and reports out any exceptions.
- Verify and approve apartment supply pipeline data on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure compliance of all applicable AVB policies and procedures with regard to financial management and monitoring and provides support as needed to the communities within the region.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in the production and analysis of budgets, revenue and expense forecasting, and financial reporting required.
- Experience in the multi-family real estate industry preferred.
