The Role
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to take on real responsibility in protecting company assets and data? We're seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of our security operations—detecting threats, responding to incidents, supporting users, and shaping our security standards.
What You'll Do:
Detect & Respond to Threats
Monitor logs, alerts, and tools to identify unusual or suspicious activity
Investigate and respond to potential security incidents and vulnerabilities
Recommend and implement mitigation strategies
Administer Systems Securely
Manage security for operating systems, apps, network devices, identity platforms, and more
Ensure alignment with internal policies, industry best practices, and vendor guidelines
Support & Automate
Handle user requests related to account access, networking, email, system troubleshooting, and more
Triage tickets, automate recurring workflows, and escalate complex issues
Research & Recommend
Stay up to date with IT security trends, tools, and emerging threats
Perform gap assessments and advise on improvements
Report & Document
Build dashboards to track security metrics and trends
Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user guides
Train & Educate
Develop content and initiatives to enhance security awareness company-wide
Assess & Collaborate
Conduct third-party risk assessments and support audits
Serve as the go-to security expert for internal teams and external auditors
What You'll Bring:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Experience:
1+ years in IT/networking across multiple OS environments
1+ years in InfoSec operations including incident response, identity management, and vulnerability mitigation
Experience administering Microsoft 365 tools such as Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and Intune
Scripting or query language experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or KQL) strongly preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to detect, investigate, and mitigate information security threats
Strong communication skills to translate technical needs into business-friendly terms
Eagerness to stay current on security technologies and threats
Availability outside standard business hours, as needed
