Responsibilities

TheSpecialty Operations Specialistis responsible for all day-to-day tasks related to customer account administration within an inbound call center environment. The primary responsibilities for the position are to ensure the compliance of regulatory requirements, policies andprocedures for alladministrative and operational goals of the Specialty Operations Department. Specialty functionsinclude the following: Resident Email, Corporate Accounts and Statements, eaves Early Refunds, Utilities, Subsidy,Redevelopment Renewal, Affordable Housing Rent Registration, Account Adjustments, and CASS Exceptions. Responsibilities will also include support for taking calls, documenting calls and completing follow-up in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • call center experience (preferred)
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • experience with data entry and excel required
  • experience with accounting systems
  • the ability to multitask
  • a high school diploma or equivalency (GED)

Candidates must also pass a drug and background screen. AvalonBay offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
