The Project Engineer will coordinate the complete construction and administrative requirements of various scopes of work; organizing the complexities into a management system that will establish, monitor, and follow up on each vendor’s compliance; orchestrates the information flows needed for each component and system to be incorporated into the project – all within the time frames needed by the progress schedule. In addition, the Project Engineer will manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and various other construction documents to ensure the successful execution of the work.
Project description: Multifamily development inclusive of 499 residential units, a five-level parking structure, three (3) courtyards, and various amenity spaces. The site is currently occupied by an existing warehouse, which will be demolished prior to the start of construction. The residential portion of the building will have a slab on grade foundation with a type IIIA superstructure consisting of wood members with intermittent structural steel. The parking structure will consist of post tensioned concrete and will be surrounded on three sides by a single loaded corridor that provides access to the type IIIA residential structure. The building exterior will consist of a combination of stucco, fiber cement siding, composite siding, vinyl windows, and limited storefront.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, architecture, or related field plus 3-5 years experience in the construction industry and knowledge in all areas of construction site improvements. Computer literacy and outstanding communication skills are required.
