AvalonBay Communities, Inc. is one of the nation’s leading Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), in the business of acquiring, selling, constructing, developing, redeveloping and managing high-quality apartment communities in leading metropolitan areas primarily in New England, the New York/New Jersey Metro area, the Mid-Atlantic, the Pacific Northwest, and the Northern and Southern California regions of the United States. We currently own and operate approximately 82,000 apartment homes in the US and employ approximately 3,000 associates. We are currently searching for a Revenue Management Analyst to be based in our Arlington, VA corporate headquarters.
The Revenue Management Analyst will provide support organizing, analyzing, auditing and maintaining pricing for:
- Apartment floor plans and attributes.
- Competitive rents and positioning.
- Compliance on new/renewal lease rents.
- Updating pricing and parameters in information systems as directed.
The Revenue Management Analyst will also support the Revenue Management Team with projects as needed.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field (such as finance, business, mathematics, etc). This is the perfect opportunity for a recent college graduate with prior internship experience in a financial or operational analysis position.
- Statistical analysis course work.
- Microsoft Excel experience.
- Relational Database experience.
- BI/analytics tools experience (Tableau, Power BI, R, Python etc.) or desire and willingness to learn.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
